Our policy at A Dart & Co is to:
- Create a work environment that safeguards the health, safety, and welfare of all individuals affected by our workplace activities by complying with all relevant OHS Legislation.
- Establish measurable occupational health and safety objectives and targets, and regularly review our systems and performance as part of a continuous improvement action plan.
- Maintain effective hazard and incident reporting and analysis systems.
- Achieve zero harm to any person and prevent any unplanned occurrences that increase the risk of harm to any person.
To achieve this, we will:
- Implement and maintain our Occupational Health and Safety Management System to comply with our certification to ISO 45001:2018.
- Involve A Dart & Co’s Managers and employees from diverse backgrounds in workplace health and safety matters and consult with them to reduce workplace risks and enhance control systems.
- Promote awareness in the development and implementation of work practices that minimize risks at work and protect the community and the environment.
- Use a risk management approach to identify the risks associated with workplace hazards for A Dart & Co, its employees, clients, contractors, or the public, and implement appropriate controls over those risks assessed to be unacceptable.
- Provide information, education, training, and instruction to enable all employees, to perform their duties without compromising A Dart & Co and our client’s standards and achieve Best Practice standards across all our operations.
- Encourage and facilitate the rehabilitation of ill or injured staff, through established management procedures.
- Require our employees, contractors, and visitors, regardless of their background, to comply with all relevant statutory requirements, codes of practice, and Australian and A Dart & Co.’s standards, and provide adequate resources to meet these requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and revise the Health and Safety Management System to ensure that desired outcomes are being achieved against specific objectives and targets, embracing diversity and inclusion in our workplace.
