The now heritage-listed New Farm Engine Room building was originally built in 1908 to house to ammonia compressors that provided refrigeration to the dock cold rooms.
It has been refurbished and now houses a coffee shop and new public toilet facilities. The construction included new compliment access ramps, a new commercial kitchen, ambulant and disabled toilets, and a new deck and coffee shop. This project has a value of $907,600.
