Reroof of the Toowong Bus Depots Natural Gas Refueling Garage and the installation of a 100 kilowatt solar system to reduce the adjacent workshops green house emissions.
The works consisted of 1600m2 of new Stramit Speed Deck Colorbond roof – including 60mm thick anticon glasswool insulation and structural repairs to the roof framing.
The 100 kilowatt solar system consisted of 332 LG 300 watt solar panels being controlled by two ABB 50kw inverters coupled with electronic monitoring to keep an eye on solar output. This project has a value of $590,000 and will help keep Toowong Bus Depot cleaner and greener.
