Construction of a new community centre on a heavily restricted site including contaminated land and a flood plain. The project was also built around an existing fig tree – tree protection zones were required to be maintained for the duration of the project. Construction consisted of two elevated buildings with a connecting deck and various disability access ramps. The project had a high-end architectural finish and the entire complex was designed around the radius of the existing fig tree.
